When/Why did you start CrossFit?
I started CrossFit in September of 2014. I needed to get myself in shape and wanted a change from the boring exercises I was forcing myself to do at home and getting nowhere! I heard CrossFit was intense, not boring, and pretty much guaranteed to get me in shape. I was very nervous to start coming here since I am kind of shy about meeting new people. I was so surprised at how friendly and welcoming everyone was at Lower Town.
How has CrossFit changed you?
CrossFit has totally changed my life! Besides helping me to lose 25 lbs.………I no longer have to force myself to workout. I love coming to CrossFit, and I am eating healthier because of it. I am stronger and feeling so much more confident about myself!
What are your strengths/weaknesses in the gym?
I am not really sure what my strengths are in the gym, but I like doing lifts that I can see myself increasing in weight like deadlifts, front and back squats, and bench presses.
My weakness is anything with running or burpees. My goal is to one day be able to do a pull-up (without a band!).
What is your favorite WOD?
My favorite WODs are most of the AMRAPs.
